So today I was walking back from grocery shopping for Roma and I ran into Nico. I decided to have lunch at his restaurant. I had a pizza (6 euros) and a glass of really good white wine (5 euros). Nico b/c he's my friend only charged me 5 euros for the entire meal!! I love him right now :) A free glass of wine from him the other day and now this! It's a good thing he's married or I'd be thinking he likes me more than a friend lol. I love Italians and their customer service! Nico's guy friend also came into the restaurant to eat and all three of us had a good time talking about history and laughing. Nico owns a sword for show thathe loves way too much. He showed it to me. Very cool, but don't worry it's dull and for show :) I'm very happy I made an Italian friend. But aside from the discounted meals, he's very funny and entertaining. Plus I lean a lot about the Italian culture and some words! My new words of the day: bicchiere di vino bianco. a glass of white wine :) YUM! And now that I know that, I can order even more things in Italian! (Yesterday I ordered my gelato completely in Italian without messing up or stumbling)! I can't wait to take my mom to Nico's restaurant when she comes and visits in about 2 weeks!!
I'm a very happy girl today and excited for Roma in 1 hour!!!
